The Wii is the fifth home video game console released by Nintendo. The console is the direct successor to the Nintendo GameCube. Nintendo's spelling of "Wii" with two lower-case "i" characters is meant to resemble two people standing side by side, representing players gathering together, as well as to represent the console's controllers.
IMO The Wii is an underdog. Microsoft & Sony make good conversational pieces
but when it comes to demand, it's Nintendo hands down. The Wii is a fun machine, relating to
a broad audience. The simplistic games seduces childrens imaginations and even stimulates the minds of adults!
Of course, we could also be Playstation & Xbox owners, but what 80's baby [Or anyone] can resist the lure of The Wii/Nintendo?
