One of the BEST RPG's ever created is reborn on the Nintendo DS. Orginally debuted in 1995, this game has withstood the test of time [literally] and is now a permanent fixture in the gaming cosmos.

Chrono Trigger was created by a "dream team" of JRPG developers, including FF series creator Hironobu Sakaguchi and Dragon Quest creator Yuuji Hori. Character design was done by famed manga artist Akira Toriyama (Dragon Ball), while the majority of the soundtrack was created by up-and-coming composer Yasunori Mitsuda. The game features a number of unique gameplay twists, including a time travel theme and multiple endings that encouraged multiple play-throughs.

I must say that this game is eye-catching, being the only colors in this game are black and white and of course red for the bloody mess you leave behind maiming your enemies.

This game is something to look forward to.

Well before Tecmo bowl, before Madden, there was [drum roll] 10 Yard Fight. At the time, it was a very easy and addictive football game...Literally ANYONE could play it with no instructions or questions asked.

Ok Wii owners, ready for something rather.......different? Well check this game out. It's called Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers.

Players take on the role of the beautiful but deadly Aya or her little sister Saki, both of whom will need to put their legendary samurai skills to the test in order to battle legions of zombies terrorizing their city.

Now that sounds wild. Hopefully, this game will see it's way to the U.S. if not already...

Rock Band 2: The Wii Will Have Downloadable Content

MTV Games, publisher of Rock Band and Rock Band 2, confirmed that Rock Band 2 for the Wii will feature downloadable songs.
This much-needed addition should bolster the Wii out of its relative inferiority and attract hard-core gamers to the system.

That's great news for Wii owners considering the last Rock Band didn't have that option! Of course, I'll be looking forward to how this will be pulled off considering Wii owners need a harddrive for the musical content.

Rock Band allows players to perform in a virtual band by providing up to four players with the ability to play three different peripherals modeled after music instruments (a guitar peripheral for lead guitar and bass guitar gameplay, a drum peripheral, and a microphone). These peripherals are used to simulate the playing of rock music by hitting scrolling notes on-screen.

Rock band is a dope game for the Wii, I was impressed on how well it handled. You and your friends are garunteed a blast working together to nail those hard-hitting songs like:

Weezer - Say It Ain't So
Smashing Pumpkins - Cherub Rock

and classics like:

Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead or Alive

Wario Land: The Shake Dimension is a puzzle-filled 2D platform adventure where you take control of Wario and hunt for treasure, complete missions and ultimately track down the evil pirate leader Shake King who has kidnapped Queen Merelda.

Nintendo owners should be happy to know that Capcom is releasing the so-called Xbox360 exclusive: Dead Rising to the Wii.

I must say that DR is an awesome game, and if you have not already played this, you're in for a treat!

You play photographer Frank West, and you're on the case of a zombie infestation in a local town. You get stranded in a mall, trying to unravel the mystery behind the outbreak, rescue survivors, and of course decimate zombies while using any weapon you can find.

A thrill ride.

Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles is an on-rails shooting game and
the seventh main installment in Capcom's Resident Evil series

The game's plot attempts to expose the Umbrella Corporation's meddling throughout
the Resident Evil series through narrations from Albert Wesker, a former Umbrella Corporationscientist, and hidden documents pertaining to the organization's secret motives and actions.

The game's main plot is composed of five main scenarios that recapitulate the events of ResidentEvil Zero, Resident Evil, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, as well as new material pertaining to the Umbrella Corporation's downfall. The game features many characters from previous Resident Evil games, who reprise their role in their respected scenarios.

Once again we enter the world of "Survival Horror"...Which isn't necessary a bad thing, lolz.
I was a bit skeptical about this RE game, for the fact that it's an on rails shooter, but the
game nonetheless impressed me. You revisit elements in the original Resident Evil game, blasting
away with your Wii controller, and new material in the final scenarios.

A must have for Wii owners and RE fans alike.

Dr. Mario Online Rx is a remake of the classic Dr. Mario puzzler. You can make your Mii appear in place of the Mario characters, and can challenge friends over Wi-Fi. The game includes the Saikin Bokumetsu game from the Japanese Brain Age 2, which can now be play cooperatively with four players.

Looks dope. I was a huge fan of Dr. Mario back in the day.
The remake is definitely gonna rekindle good memories, lolz!

Wii Fit is a video game developed by Nintendo for the Wii console.
Like the rest of the Wii Series, Wii Fit integrates Miis into its presentation and gameplay.
The game is designed to function with the Wii Balance Board peripheral and is an example of exercise gaming.

The game is scheduled for release May 19, 2008 in North America.

The Wii Fit is gonna be Off The Hook! I can already tell by the positive buzz it's getting.

The Wii is the fifth home video game console released by Nintendo. The console is the direct successor to the Nintendo GameCube. Nintendo's spelling of "Wii" with two lower-case "i" characters is meant to resemble two people standing side by side, representing players gathering together, as well as to represent the console's controllers.

IMO The Wii is an underdog. Microsoft & Sony make good conversational pieces
but when it comes to demand, it's Nintendo hands down. The Wii is a fun machine, relating to
a broad audience. The simplistic games seduces childrens imaginations and even stimulates the minds of adults!

Of course, we could also be Playstation & Xbox owners, but what 80's baby [Or anyone] can resist the lure of The Wii/Nintendo?

Link's Crossbow Training

Link's Crossbow Training is a video game by Nintendo for the Wii. It is bundled with the Wii
Zapper peripheral, and was released in North America on November 19, 2007, exactly one year
after the Wii's release in that region.

Don't get me wrong, Link's Crossbow Training is indeed a fun game. It's just that it's relatively
short. You could actually beat the single-player mode in an hour if you're skilled.

The Wii Zapper is a gun shell peripheral for the Wii Remote.
The name is a reference to the NES Zapper light gun for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

Sleek in design, and challenging to use. Hopefully more games will be developed for the Zapper,
giving gamers broader gameplay choices.

The Wii Remote

The Wii Remote, sometimes nicknamed "Wiimote", is the primary controller for Nintendo's Wii console.
A main feature of the Wii Remote is its motion sensing capability, which allows the user to interact
with and manipulate items on screen via movement and pointing through the use of accelerometer and
optical sensor technology. Another feature is its expandability through the use of attachments.

The Nunchuk

The Nunchuk is the first controller attachment Nintendo revealed for the Wii Remote
at the 2005 Tokyo Game Show. It connects to the Wii Remote via a cord that is about 3.5 to 4 feet long.
Its appearance when attached resembles the nunchaku, hence the name. It also features an analog stick
similar to the one found on the Nintendo GameCube controller and two trigger buttons

One of the coolest Nintendo controllers yet, The remote and the nunchuk literally go hand and hand.
It has a different feel from any of the other controllers I've dealt with.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

the series to feature third-party characters. Like its predecessors, Brawl
is a departure from traditional fighting games, notably in its simplified move commands
and its emphasis on ring outs over knockouts.

A definate must for those with active siblings and great for parties! You and your friends could
literally spend hours giving each other the beatdown, lolz. IMO, it was cool to bring Sonic the Hedgehog over...Now Mario can go toe the toe with his arch-nemesis! Another fav is none other than Solid Snake, from the Metal Gear Solid Series.

Super Mario Galaxy

Super Mario Galaxy is a 3D platform game developed by Nintendo EAD Tokyo and published by Nintendo for the Wii.
It is the third 3D platformer in the
Mario series after Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine.

The game follows Mario on his quest through space to save Princess Peach from his arch-nemesis Bowser.
Levels take the form of galaxies filled with a variety of minor planets and worlds while gameplay
is updated with a variety of gravity effects and new power-ups.

Super Mario galaxy is a very dope game. Fun and very addictive, it's hard to put this one down! I recommend playing this game solo...unless you feel like duking it out with a friend over the controller! Lolz.
